What we liked the most was Queen, she was really helpful and always smiling! The room was extremely clean and modern, the AC and fan worked perfect. Also the pool and the exterior were beautiful and well preserved. We had dinner both nights of our stay and Chef James offered us delicious meals!

An excellent beach resort on the east coast of Zanzibar. It is quiet and beautiful. The staff is excellent, very helpful, efficient and always smiling. The beakfast has plenty of variety that I have not seen in similar resorts. The view of the sunrise from the resort was beautiful. The baech has rocky patches, however the resort provides beach shoes. The resort arranges excursions as per your requrements through a tour company with very good and relaible guides and drivers. We went on the tour with an excellent guide Malik, that included swim with dolphins, snorkelling and watching the sunset. It was all wonderfully organised including a lunch at a local restaurant. It is nice that the tour company is supporting the local retaurants. It was a bliss to return to the quiet Karibu Resort after a hectic day and relax with a drink. The resort has thoughtfully provided books and board games for th guests. The resort restaurant provides a reasonable variety of dishes. There are other restaurants available nearby in case you want a change. I recommend this quiet and beautiful resort for a quiet holiday with family or friends.

Casa Paradis has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Jambiani. Closest to paradise we’ve ever been! Truly amazing place in Zanzibar. We felt an instant grounding and relaxation the moment we arrived, and we truly loved the barefoot theme. Such a nice detail. The owners are so sweet, so attentive and really made us feel at home. Staff is like a family too - everybody so welcoming and happy to see you. Food is just great! Facilities, rooms, beach access, location, pool, aesthetic… Can’t beat it. It’s unique. We had the best time in Casa Paradis! Didn’t want to leave and will for sure come back if we visit Zanzibar again.

We had a fantastic stay at Passion! The hotel rooms were beautiful, clean and stylish. Furthermore, the personell were always polite, friendly and super attentive to our needs, and did way more than expected to help us get the most out of our stay. In addition, the meals were great and the menu extensive and varied. In sum, we felt that we got very much value for money. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay!

We stayed a day, but if we had time, we would stay a few more days! All the staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy. The view of the beach from the terrace is amazing! The Rock Restaurant is within walking distance. I recommend it to those who want a quiet rest.

This place is AWESOME! If you have a family with little ones, the two bedroom villa with a bathtub (not the pool) is PERFECT for you!!!! The villa has a huge elevated front yard with sunbeds, a sunbed-swing, a hammock swing, an outdoor dining area, an outdoor shower (not private), and a tap to wash sand off your feet. It is enclosed with high stone walls from both sides, and the front is enclosed with plants and landscaping that does not obscure the view. The view is breath-taking and the wind coming from the sea was just enchanting. It has direct access to the beach through steps that lead downwards to a door that can only be accessed from the villa's front yard. At night the yard is well-lit by lights on the wall-fence, as well as lights on the terrace walls. The kids loved this area. They played in the sand all day, went for walks on the beach to gather shells and came back to decorate their sandcastles. They played in the bathtub. They ate on the dining table and took naps on the swings. The adults had breakfast outdoors, stepped out on the beach for a swim, and played board-games when it got too late. Sitting in the front yard, one had almost full privacy (for covered Muslim ladies, this is always a plus). Inside, there are two spacious rooms each with a full bathroom, (one even has a TV! In Zanzibar!). The rooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans. Each room had a king bed and a single bed, each with a mosquito net. The best part, is that the bedrooms have ceiling to floor glass panels that allow you full view of the ocean, and can be opened so you can survey your little ones playing outside in the front yard. When we arrived, the bathrooms did not have a bidet-hose connected, but that was immediately fixed within the hour. The host was extremely hospitable, and even gave us a discount on some services as an apology. Best customer service experience I have EVER had at a boutique hotel.
