Motel.room large and obviously renovated recently. Great location for park access and within walking distance of restaurants in a 1 horse town. Rico at the front desk was helpful and attentive and sorted out a reservation glitch for us immediately. Likes that the fridge had a freezer allowing us to refreeze our ice packs.

Despite some reservation issues, the support was very excellent and effective. We were very grateful for the way it was handled. The room was clean and nicely equipped. The breakfast was served in the restaurant near the hotel, so it could be a disadvantage for some guests but concerning the town and its unique attractions, we consider this as an interesting feature.

Love Hotels Badlands National Park at Kadoka SD is located in Kadoka. The 2-star motel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. There was a bit of cereal in the lobby, but because our host said that breakfast would be put out around 9:00 we just ate our own breakfast because we wanted to be on the road by then. I believe our host was doing their best but the hotel was understaffed.
