The plantation-style Kauai Inn boasts an outdoor pool and beautiful views of the green Hula'eia Mountains. It is next to Niumalu Beach Park and Nawiliwili Bay’s surfing and fishing. We had a great 10 day stay at The Kauai Inn. The towels, lawn chairs, masks/snokels etc they lend out come in really handy, and they have such welcoming nice staff ( thanks Richard, Linda, Jody). At breakfast each day, and at the special events you meet so many other nice guests. On Thanksgiving they put on such an amazing free dinner with all the fixings which was incredible. Lots of games out on the grass and lovely cats make you welcome too. We really liked the location as central for the whole island and Kalapaki Beach close by is really protected so on the high surf days it was always very safe where most other beaches were not. Nice comfortable beds and big rooms. Coffee and tea being available all day was super nice too. What a great stay we had.
