All the facilities were immaculate and organized. At first sight, the room looked higher than rated. The mattress was soft and clean. The restroom was spacious, and the hair dryer was much better than many hotels. I also love that they mostly have USB sockets everywhere so that I can quickly charge my phone next to me! The breakfast was also excellent. I love the crispy sausages!

Located in North Hollywood, Lexen Hotel - North Hollywood Near Universal Studios features a fitness centre and a shared lounge. Every room has a flat-screen TV with with cable channels. I had initially booked a two-beds room because I was travelling with my sister, who couldn't come with me at the end, so I had all this room for myself. I was going to a play at El Portal theatre, the hotel is at a walking distance from there. I even made a couple trips there to take photos. I loved the location and the attention from the staff; I arrived a couple hours earlier than expected and asked if I could check in earlier and they accepted. Looks like the staff also knows how to communicate in spanish so that's also a plus. The beds were very comfortable and warm, everything was clean. There's also the option to purchase drinks and snacks at the lobby. The morning I was checking out I left too late for breakfast so I wasn't able to try that. There's WiFi available but I remember I had to use my mobile data a couple times to have internet access, but overall it was good!

Offering an outdoor pool, this Burbank hotel is 7.6 km away from the iconic Hollywood Sign. It offers guest rooms with free WiFi and free guest parking. Exceptionally clean, very friendly front desk staff upon check-in. Quiet property and room was very comfortable. I didn't partake in the restaurant, but I would in the future as it looked delicious (Cuban food).
