It was our first trip to the Yosemite area, and didn't know what to expect in terms of location. We were in the middle of a very charming town with several restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the place had every imaginable amenity, including some artisanal bath products and a great continental breakfast. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

The B&B was built in 1927 and is a living museum without all the cutesy memorabilia. It was beautifully decorated with Fall decor and I'd love to return to see what the owners do with their winter theme. The hosts were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we've ever experienced a a B&B. We had a beautiful view of the front yard.

Built in 1859, this historic Jamestown hotel has its own house ghost and features an on-site restaurant and bar. Rooms include antique furniture and Yosemite National Park is 24 miles away. Food good, I loved the hotel like stepping back in time. First hotel i've stayed without a TV and kettle and it was great.

Between Sonora and Jamestown on the main Hwy 108, Hotel Country Inn Sonora is 1.6 km from Central Sonora. The hotel offers seasonal outdoor pool and free WiFi in all guest rooms and the public areas. Didn't have breakfast, but I did see complimentary coffee in the lobby and we had 2 packets of if coffee for the small 2 cup-coffee maker in our room. I would suggest 4 packets of coffee as we would drink 2 cups night and morning. Friendly receptionist at check in at 11 p.m.

Discover a harmonious blend of historic charm and contemporary comfort at Sonora Inn. Recently updated inside. New paint, etc. An older historic hotel. Clean and met our three day stay needs well. The desk staff were all nice and helpful. The helped us out on several occasions. The downtown area is there for strolling , shopping, eating and bar hopping. Breakfast was nice, coffee was hot, food acceptable for a classic hotel self serve offering.
