Clean , comfortable, the breakfast was great.
Just one thing is superfluous , is parking ...

Located high in the east Pyrenees, Andorra la Vella is the capital of the Principality of Andorra and the highest capital in Europe. This beautiful city is a popular ski destination and a major commercial centre.
Famous for its natural heritage, the town is separated in two parts. The new part of the town is very commercial, while the charming old town is characterised by picturesque stone streets and houses. Visit a local restaurant and enjoy traditional dishes like escudella, which is a stew of chicken, sausage and meatballs.
Relax in the park of the city centre or visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley with the glacial landscape. Ideal for all levels of skiers, the ski area of Grandvalira is the largest one in Southern Europe.

The city has no airport and the train station of L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre is the last one before Andorra and about two hours from Toulouse. There are regular bus services from Andorra-l’Ospitalet to Andorra la Vella.
It was a great few days in Andorra la Vella. Everyone in the Andorra Park Hotel was very service oriented. The hotel restaurant was very good for all meals. They wanted to do everything to make you happy. The town restaurants were friendly and great. We are two times at IZai, a tapas restaurant. Delicious! We enjoyed visiting Roc del Quer overlook and walking across the Tibeta Bridge. Amazing views! We would visit again.

AndBus is very good bus company to go there from Barcelona.
AndBus is very good bus company to go there from Barcelona. Their bus leaves just next to the El Prat airport.
The city centre of Andorra la Vella is nice with many shops, restaurants and cafeteria’s but it is enough for 1 day. Restaurant Big-Ben was a nice French restaurant with variety of foods. Salmon was good!
I would definitely recommend to go the mountain walking tours. I went there with an experienced mountain guide who gives you all the information around the area (history, mountains, endemic plants)
İgnasi was a perfect mountain guide and it is worth to do it!

This place is a year round shopping destination as well as a winter season ski resort. Because of the very low taxes (some non existent) all goods (not just luxury) are at significantly discounted prices than are otherwise applicable in the rest of Europe. Beware however that both French and Spanish border officials are strict about their policing of limits of certain goods (mainly alcohol) that can be brought across their borders.

It's an interesting little capital of a lovely country (or principality, its official designation). I was there in mid-September, a good time for hiking or cycling in the surrounding mountains. The language spoken by native Andorrans is Catalan, but many residents have come from other countries to service the tourist industry, so you will have little trouble if you speak Spanish, French, or English. The prices are reasonable, compared to major cities in other European countries. If you don't have a car, public bus service is pretty good.

Andorra la Vella (the city) is very easy to get by once you get to know their escalators / stairs around the city. It's built in top of the mountain so for most of the walkable/pedestrian streets you need to take a lift in any building you see once you get off the bus station, for example. You will see a lot of parking areas and you can take their lifts to the main pedestrian streets there. Some other buildings like hotels and such will indicate pedestrian crosses THRU their buildings too. We didn't know and asked a policeman who told us of this, otherwise we were kinda lost haha. There's streets that take you to the upper level too, by just walking up the hills, but there seem to be a lot of construction work going on and some of this steep streets are closed off, so it's best to go with the lifts. Fave places: Caldea Spa!! Where to eat: Midtown for brunch and lunch, they have the best american burgers; La Tagliatella for the best Italian pasta; Excalibur for beers, and Criterium Bicycle Cafe for the best coffee and cakes experience!! They even have protein smoothies :) so great! The city center is nice but gets really crowded on Spanish holidays so next time I'll go in the middle of the week and would avoid holidays and weekends.

A wonderful city.
A wonderful city. Around the mountains, there are several walking paths through the mountains from the city. There are thermal springs in the city. The city is lively, there are many modern sculptures, flowing rivers. The environment is very clean. The food in the restaurants is good and inexpensive, and you can choose from various cuisines. The prices in the shops are friendly. I recommend visiting the house museum where the Council of Andorra met. When you buy a ticket, you will also receive an audio guide. People are kind, helpful, they speak English well. I walked around the city because the hotel was close to the center. Easy access to the city by public transport. I went to eat in restaurants near the central street.

Amazing place! One of the best hostels I have ever been in. It could called hotel instead of hoStel. Very-very clean (they clean rooms every day during your stay (never saw this in any hostel), the stuff is very friendly and smiley, very good central located (close to the bus station too), amazing window view (city center and beautiful mountains around). They have very nice bar-pub with a lot of drinks, snacks and food down there too.
The staff team was very nice, they are able to speak English, Spanish and Portuguese that's amazing.
The hotel is located in a central area with all facilities close to the building.
Definitely Yomo Mola is a good option for those of you that are looking to enjoy some days in Andorra.
My five stars to Amira and the young guy with well done black beard that was working at central reception and breakfast reception, respectivelly.
We were there out of season - so both days we had the spa facilities/gym entirely to ourselves. Really interesting 20th century, post war modernist vibe to the architecture (and whole “bones” of the hotel). Very nice Halloween dinner in the restaurant. Very easy access to the street level town through the neighbouring car park lifts. Nice gardens and outdoor pool (absolutely freezing so didn’t get in!).
We absolutely loved our stay at the Grand Plaza! The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was spacious and quiet, the breakfast was delightful, and the valet parking was very convenient. We were only in Andorra for one night, so did not have a chance to use the spa at the hotel or eat dinner at the restaurant but look forward to trying both on future visits.
They also have great robes!
Hostal Cisco de Sans is a good place to stay in Andorra La Vella. It is located slightly away from the main touristic areas so it's relatively calm and quiet, with close access to nice places to walk and points of interest. There is a small grocery market very nearby, as well as a few restaurants and other shops. The space was small but comfortable enough for a short stay.
the hotel was very clean and quiet with spacious rooms. My bathroom was almost bigger than the bedroom with gorgeous bathtub and separate shower. The morning breakfast buffet was vast and very tasty. i really enjoyed being at the top of town, near Caldea and just steps away from the very busy shopping street, but not directly on it.
Comfy beds. Plastic free shampoo, big shower space. Location close to Caldea (5 blocks) and city center. Good breakfast options in the hotel's bar. Parking is available (paid) one block away from the hotel. The staff was super nice and available in the reception all day, and they helped us when we needed it. Thank you!
Good place in Escaldes, a walking distance from the Andorra La Vella city center. Nice english speaking staff. Comfortable room with free towels and shower gel. The room was clean and quiet. I also bought a parking space that was in the underground garage, with a place arranged individually for every car
The room was sparkling clean and was cleaned every day. The location is great - it takes only 5 mins walking maximum to Caldea, about 10mins walking from the city center of Andorra la Vella. The supermarket is also about 10mins walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Room size was spacious, staff super friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner restaurants well stocked and yummy.
Room was quiet, despite the floor being full of guests.
The hotel is well poisitioned in Andorra la Vella being between the old town and the new.
Hotel location is amazing for getting around Andorra la Vella! Easy access to both Canillo and El Tarter stations, with great restaurants within walking distance. There is also affordable parking very nearby.
The property has just about the best views of Andorra La Vella in the whole city. The property has all the facilities you would require. Very well appointed kitchen facilities with 3 x bathrooms.
Friendly hotel staff. Great location! Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast!! So many food choices and great quality! Will definitely be back!
