Hope the one with karaoke will be fixed soon. Everyone whom I met at the hotel were really friendly. I only could wish for a better weather, but even when it's reining, music from the turntable complements the stay. This is also a great choice for "staycation" in Amsterdam.

DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam - NDSM Wharf is located in Amsterdam North, right across the waters of canal IJ. The breakfast was great, the bed was very comfortable and the ferry over/back to the hotel was super frequent so there was no hassle getting to the centre and back!

NH Amsterdam Noord is located in the north of Amsterdam, near the central station, and with easy access to all famous sights and on-site parking is available for an additional charge. The rooms was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was big and came with a tub! our room came with a walk in closet which was big and spacious. Beds were super comfortable and the mattress was very good. The staff were very professional and helped us with everything we needed. The location is a bit far away from Amsterdam centre, but they provide a free shuttle to Central station between 9am and 11.45pm. So you could use this to save money on taxis or public transport. Breakfast was good and available for a long time on weekends, so you could sleep in until late.
